IMITATION PRODUCTS

Lately we have seen attempts to home-brew and market cheaper forms of oral hCG. Some of these may actually deliver an over-dose or under-dose of hCG. Some pharmacies may not be using 'Human' Chorionic Gonadotropin, but instead, using a cheaper form of 'Equine' (horse) Chorionic Gonadotropin. They may also contain undisclosed additives that do not transport hCG as effectively, may taste bad, and have some questionable ingredients. They may not be made using the same sterile laboratory as our pharmaceutical grade and prescription only products.  
Cant I just do an "hCG diet" on my own  ?
There are a several reasons why it may not work if you tried an "hCG diet" without help.  The primary reason is because this type of diet is so specific and requires an overall knowledge of nutrition and macronutrients, and like any low calorie diet, the program requires discipline. We have found that the support and guidance of professionals who have all gone through the program themselves is the key to its success. Another reason is that the specific products we use are not publicly available. Our  hCG is prescribed only by a doctor and we are able to arrange a highly sought after consultation with the reknown BeHive of Healing in Venice, CA.  The doctor will also address other specifc health issues you may have and provide additional supplements or therapies in support of the weight loss program and your overall health.

How much weight can I expect to lose on this plan ?
Everyone is different and weight loss will vary slightly.  If  the program is carefully followed, it is not uncommon to lose 4-6  lbs per week (women) or 5-9 lbs per week (men).  

How long is the program ? 
The program operates on a monthly cycle. Some clients will require only one month (one cycle)  to achieve the desired weight loss. Many clients will require 2 or more months along with a optional maintenance period which we highly recommend.

How will it shed pounds and increase metabolism ? 
It is a complex physiological process that works by reprogramming the carbohydrate / fat mechanism inside the body. The regimen first developed by Dr. Simeons in the 1950's has been modified somewhat and combines very specific eating plan of low calorie meals containing the proper kinds of foods, along with the use of  pure hCG  ( human Chorionic Gonadotropin), a hormone that occurs naturally in the body and is safe and effective. 

Will I lose muscle along with the fat ?  
It depends on how much weight you need to initially lose. When you lose a substantial amount of weight, some muscle mass naturally goes with it. One of the benefits of hCG  is the protection of muscle and bone,  so you will keeping more muscle mass. Keeping muscle is important since muscle burns more calories that fat, resulting in an increased metabolism.

Won’t I gain the weight right back? 
One of the goals of our program is the personal communication with each client and being able to identify eating  habits which caused the weight gain in the first place.  Yes, your metabolism will be improved, and hCG regimen helps in re-programming your metabolic rate.  With proper guidance and education about nutrition we will empower you to ensure you results will be lasting.

When can I get back to my "normal" diet ? 
After the desired weight loss, we recommend a maintenance program that includes more consultations with your nutritionist which serves as a bridge between the temporary low calorie hCG diet  and more normal eating plan. It is our job to help each client make those small changes which can make all the difference in the long run. You can still enjoy many of the foods you love and even indulge once in a while.  We will just show you ways to do without it drastically impacting your weight and your overall health.

How can improving my diet improve my health ? 
Hippocrates said it best, "let thy medicine be thy food." Though he was known as "the father of medicine", Hippocrates himself suggested that the healing properties of our food combined with exercise was the key to good health. Thousands of years of observation tells us which foods are the most beneficial in keeping our bodies healthy. Conversely, introducing large amounts of unnatural foods can have a damaging effect on our bodies. Even though our bodies are capable of operating on substandard foods for a short time, in the long term our bodies will begin to break down and succumb to disease without proper nutrition.

How do phone consultations work ? 
We recommend scheduling your phone consultation at a time and place where you are completely free of distractions. After you have filled out and emailed or faxed our detailed health questionnaire, and we have had the chance to go over it in detail, we will arrange a convenient time for the consultation. Our first task is to get a complete picture of your individual situation and address specific health concerns and your overall goals. By listening carefully to your eating habits, available food choices and eating schedules and routine, as well as your food likes and dislikes, we can begin to make changes toward a diet that is delicious and nutritious. Since a lot of material is covered in the phone consultation, we can also provide you with a recorded copy of the call so that you can review the conversation at a later time.
